About the event

This day retreat is for any woman seeking self-care time and looking to explore practices that helps them connect to their true nature - peace, love and happiness.  The practices explored throughout the day will also assist with stress reduction, patterns of negative thinking and working with challenging emotions.

Throughout the day we'll explore what keeps us from feeling peace and happiness within and then move into practices & teachings that help to connect us back to our true nature and help us more clearly understand the workings of the mind.

This day retreat includes meditation exercises, breathwork, journaling & reflection, gentle movement + group teachings and group discussion.

Leave with a toolbox of skills and practices you can use for returning to inner peace at any time.

Flow of the Day:​

  • Introductions & Welcome
  • Teaching Session - What Keeps Us from Feeling Peace Within: Exploring the Nature of the Mind
  • Teaching Session - Understanding The Path of Finding Greater Inner Peace
  • Break
  • Understanding Meditation + Guided Meditation Session (20 minutes)
  • Gentle Yoga for Inner Peace
  • Break for lunch
  • Teaching Session - Working With the Ego & Practicing Inner Child Work
  • Afternoon Meditation & Breathwork Session (60 min session)
  • Reflection, Sharing & Closing circle

This retreat is led by meditation, breathwork & yoga teacher + psychospiritual coach, Shawna Thibodeau. Shawna has been a meditation teacher and teacher of inner work for over 10 years. As a previous mental health nurse, and having transformed her own life through inner work and holistic practices, she is passionate about helping others improve their mental, emotional and spiritual health, as well as their life through a psychospiritual approach. She runs retreats and programs online and across the world including Canada, United States, Costa Rica, Portugal and Italy.

A take-home PDF booklet of the skills & practices covered is provided to help equip you with review & resources for continued use at home.
