Our program offers 200+ hours of immersive teachings,

As the visionary behind The Zen Collective, Melanie stands as a beacon of compassion, wisdom, and grace. Her journey as a Experience Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) began in 2018 when she felt a profound calling to share the transformative practices of Yoga and Energy Healing with the world.

Driven by her passion for holistic well-being, Melanie founded The Zen Collective—a sacred space dedicated to healing, growth, and spiritual evolution. 


With her gentle guidance and nurturing spirit, she cultivates an environment where students can explore the depths of their practice and discover their inner wisdom.

At the heart of The Zen Collective's ethos lies Melanie's unwavering commitment to creating a community that embraces authenticity and connection. 

As both a teacher and a lifelong student deeply committed to her own personal growth and development, she leads by example, embodying humility, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to the practice of yoga. 

Melanie is excited to share her wealth of knowledge, experience, and wisdom as she guides aspiring yogis through the transformative journey of the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program.


She is a natural teacher, a graduate of Niagara University’s faculty of Education, so she has the skills and the innate gift to make learning simple and fun.


Yet Melanie did not intend to even teach Yoga when she did her own Yoga Teacher Training. She signed up when her daughter started University, as a way to challenge herself, at a transitional point in her life, and to hopefully finally lose some weight.


Soon, she realized that her body was strong and capable in ways that other skinny bodies were and were not. She had a new appreciation for what her unique body could do, and feel, regardless of its shape and weight. Melanie knew she had to share this body-acceptance and ease of body, mind and spirit with as many people as she could.


While Melanie is humbled to have been voted Niagara Falls favourite Yoga Teacher since she began teaching, she knows the personal transformation was the most profound part of Yoga Teacher Training. She can’t wait to welcome you into your own transformational journey of self-discovery with YTT.

Through my own continuous journey of self-discovery and growth, I have come to understand the profound impact of yoga and energy healing on our holistic well-being. With each class, workshop, and session, I strive to create a supportive environment where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

With over two decades of experience as a dedicated yoga teacher and Therapeutic Practitioner, including certifications as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200) and Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) through Jypsy Rose School, as well as specialized training in Yoga Nidra and 200 HR Hatha Teacher Training, I am humbly devoted to guiding students on their transformative journey towards inner peace and self-discovery.


As a Reiki Master, I infuse my teachings with the healing energy of Reiki, enhancing the transformative power of our practice.


As we delve into the practices of yoga, meditation, and energy healing, I encourage you to embrace your authenticity and honor your unique path.


Together, we will unlock the transformative potential within you, nurturing a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
